BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Drive along Route 1 south to Route 27 south to explore countless coves and inlets, craft galleries and boutiques. The summer’s highlight in BOOTHBAY HARBOR is THE WINDJAMMER DAYS FESTIVAL in MID-JUNE.

Visit MAINE MARITIME MUSEUM in Bath, featuring wooden shipbuilding, Route 1 south.

Visit the MAINE STATE PRISON SHOWROOM OUTLET in Thomaston where they offer HANDCRAFTED WOOD PRODUCTS for sale. Route 1 north.

Take in the many museums in the Rockland area…OWLS HEAD TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM, WILLIAM FARNSWORTH LIBRARY AND ART MUSEUM, and THE SHORE VILLAGE MUSEUM. Rockland hosts THE MAINE LOBSTER FESTIVAL held each year the first weekend of August. Route 1 north.

Stroll the Main Street of CAMDEN and enjoy the harbor sites. Visit CAMDEN HILLS STATE PARK where you may drive or hike to the summit of MT. BATTIE overlooking CAMDEN HARBOR and PENOBSCOT BAY and INLAND LAKES and RIVERS. Route 1 north.
