Mid Winter Post
How is everyone doing out there! We are nice and cold up here in Maine! Snow is melting away with the warmer temperatures, but it is definitely still cold and wet. We are busy getting the campground ready for the 2012 season. We are also enjoying relaxing during our time off. We will be back in business before you know it! Swimming, fishing, boating, bonfires and more!
Winter? Really?
If you were here at Duck Puddle today, on December 6th, 2011 you would not think it was Winter. The weather has been so warm these past weeks that it is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. All of our camp sites are currently closed for the Winter. We are excited for the 2012 season and to see all of our guests again. For now, enjoy the Winter and relax, to get ready for a fun Summer at Duck Puddle Campground next year!
Closed
We are closed for the 2011 season. Thank you to all of our campers for staying with us this year. We had a great time here at the campground, our theme weekends were a big hit, the lake was busy with boaters and fisherman, our playground was full of kids having fun and the campground was full of fun and Summer memories. See you all next year!
Still Available for Camping!
Here at Duck Puddle Campground we are still open for all camping! We know the weather is a bit cooler outside, but don’t let that stop you from packing up your tent, sleeping bag, blankets, fishing poles and relaxing beside a beautiful lake while enjoying the openness of camping. If you own an RV you can bring that on over as well and park it for the weekend for a nice getaway. We will be closing at the end of the month, so come on over while you can!
Well, the weather is actually still pretty nice for October and camping is still open. Whether you are looking to camp in a traditional tent, your own camper or our spacious lake house, we would love to see you before the Winter weather kicks in.
